ADULT DEMOLITION DERBY

Minimum Age to Enter:  16

Demolition Derby show for Canandaigua (land of legends) May 11 after the races. $800, $400, $200. $30 to get in pit and no additional fees for demo.

June 26. After the monster truck, quad wars. Demo $800, $400, $200. As far as I know $30 pit fee and no additional fee to demo Here are the rules. 

COMPACT Rules

Cars must remain stock unless specified. Derby is open to 4 or 6 cylinder

IF IT DOESN’T SAY YOU CAN DO IT, THEN DON’T DO IT!

Interior: Must be removed completely – includes carpet, rear seat cushions, headliner, door panels (may keep driver door panel). Dash optional – AIR BAG MUST BE REMOVED. Key start recommended.

Windows: All glass (including windshield) must be removed. Side window net is allowed.

**2 STEEL BARS SHOULD BE MOUNTED FROM THE FIRE WALL TO ROOF**

Body & Suspension: Must be stripped of all glass, chrome, trim, side mirrors, plastic, and fiberglass panels. No hood latches. Suspension may be rigid.

Driver Compartment: One cross bar is allowed behind the seat running door to door. This is to keep from caving in. Four point cage and halo bar is allowed, not extending to the frame. Cannot touch floor panel – must be inside car (not between door skins)

Doors: Must be chained, wired, OR welded (5″on 10″ off weld on each door). Driver’s door may be welded completely. Paint driver door white.

(ALSO AN ADDITIONAL BAR ON OUTSIDE OF DRIVERS DOOR IS RECOMMENDED BUT NOT MANDATORY.)

Bumpers: Any OEM(Any stock compact or fullsize car bumper may also use bumper shocks with or with out brackets)

Tires: Any ply rubber tire

Battery: May be left under the hood or moved to passenger side floor (must be held down by 2 straps and covered with a rubber mat).

Gas Tank: If not under center of car, MUST be moved to the back seat area, securely fastened (May run a gas tank protector but must not touch back seat tin ) If left in original position, must be chained or wired in both directions.

Brakes: All cars must have and will be checked for brakes and air cleaner.

Hood & Trunk: All hoods can be bolted with (4) ½” bolts using 2″X2″ angle iron,ECT… wired OR chained down. Must have an 12″×12″ hole cut out. Trunk lids must be chained OR welded 5″on 10″off. May dimple / pre bend rear quarters and trunk.

All contestants will have one minute to restart and/or make contact with a live car. All drivers must stay in their cars while on the track. NO SMOKING IN CAR OR ON TRACK.

We will stop the event for fire, accident, or safety equipment not being used properly.

Safety belts, eye protection, and DOT helmets are required AT ALL TIMES ON THE TRACK. Long sleeve shirts and pants must be worn – shorts are not acceptable. WE RECOMMEND DUCK TAPING STEERING WHEEL TO PREVENT HAND OR ARM INJURY.
