HANGOVER GETS A DOUBLE SHOT, ROUND II, TAKE 2!! NEW YEAR’S DAY RACE MOVED TO FROZEN DATE OF JANUARY 22
As our team evaluates both the grounds here at the track and the forecasted weather this week, the ground is just too soft to try and race on New Year’s Day. We are 100% committed to running this event to kick off our season and will now enact our Frozen Date of Saturday January 22nd, 2022. Pits 8:30AM and Racing at 12:00PM.
We do realize that our Frozen Date falls on the same day as neighboring Outlaw Speedway’s banquet night. With better conditions and a 12PM start time, we will have drivers and crew well on their way to make that event in the evening.
If the frost does not set in for January 22nd we will not hesitate to delay again if necessary. We want to avoid what Mother Nature handed us last year and it appears that it will require patience to get the right conditions to carry on the history and tradition that is “The Hangover” enduro.
This race, presented by Nashvilles Rockin’ Country Redneck Tavern, will pay $1,000-to-win for both the 6Cyl and 4Cyl divisions. To date we have 34 4-Cylinders and 25 6-Cylinders registered. Registration deadline has been pushed back to January 21st at 6PM, $50 Pre-Registration covers the car and the Driver Pit Pass. Race Day Registration will be $50 for the car and $25 pit passes for driver and crew.
